Upper case characters in fields for sequences

In some text fields, for example, in the dialog of a sequence creation, in the insert dialog, on the "Search in Sequence" tab, when a user input a sequence, it can be input in upper case, so the user would understand what would be searched for.

Another approach may be to allow a user to input lower case and upper case characters and consider either lower or upper case to be annotations as it is commonly used.

A common widget should be created and used in all such fields.
