"null device" in ChIP-seq external tools output (on Mac)

Output log of ChIP-seq external tools contains the following messages:

null device
1

For example, when I ran the Cistrome pipeline, the coservation plot tool contained only this message in the output. And seqPos contained a lot of such messages followed by a normal log.
